1 large cauliflower
300 ml arrabbiata sauce
2 balls of mozzarella sliced
0.5 bunch of basil
2 eggs
150 g breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried oregano
Pepper and salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Cut the cauliflower in half and then into 4 thick equal slices.

Beat the eggs with pepper and salt in a bowl.

Dip the cauliflower slices in the egg and then coat them in breadcrumbs.

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil.

Bake for 30 min at 195°C.

Spread the tomato sauce on top.

Place the mozzarella slices on it.

Sprinkle with oregano.

Bake for another 2 to 3 min until the cheese is nicely melted.

Finish with fresh basil leaves.
