My passion for cooking began in my grandmothers' kitchens. They could do everything: from pate and stews to the most delicious cakes. Everything was made by hand, without fuss, but with a taste you will never forget. I want to continue that authentic knowledge and artisanal love in my kitchen.
Later I saw my father prepare his duck laqué – with endless patience and a
perfect layer of marinade. The magic around the table, the enthusiasm of the guests… At that moment I knew: this is what I want to do.
I went to hotel school, immersed myself in pastry at court supplier Wittamer, did internships at home and abroad and became chef of my own restaurant. In 2009 I was elected Best Female Chef of the Year, a moment that accelerated my career. But it didn't stop there.

LOVE IN THE OVEN
Baking is pure joy for me. From rustic bread to airy cakes and crispy cookies, I can fully express my creativity in it. The smell of a freshly baked cake filling the kitchen, the moment you cut through a perfectly risen brioche… those are the little moments of happiness that count. My program “Goe Gebakken” got Flanders baking en masse, and I continue to share that passion – because baking really is for everyone!

FROM TV SCREEN TO YOUR KITCHEN
You may know me from TV, but today I inspire hundreds of thousands of foodies
online via Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and my website. I want to show
see that delicious cooking doesn't have to be complicated. With feasible recipes, pure
flavors and baking with love I hope to inspire you to put something delicious on the table every day
to conjure.
For me, sustainability is not a trend, but a way of life. I stand every month
With my feet on the field with farmer Tijs, my regular sustainable greengrocer. Every time he teaches me something about seasonal vegetables, growing and harvesting. That knowledge - just like my grandmother's - should not be lost. For me, sustainable cooking means:

Cooking is my passion, but I also love fashion, traveling and feeling good about myself. Self-care and self-love are important to me, and I want to be an example for young people and women who want to enjoy themselves without feeling guilty!
