Kitchen must haves
Ingredients

What do you need?

Quantity: 2p

1 zucchini 1 fennel 4 tbsp oil pepper salt 1 kg mussels 10 cherry tomatoes 100 ml of liquid (white wine, here, pastis ...)

1 zucchini 1 fennel 4 tbsp oil pepper salt 1 kg mussels 10 cherry tomatoes 100 ml of liquid (white wine, here, pastis ...)

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Prepare vegetables: cut the zucchini into slices and the fennel into thin strips. Heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the vegetables. Bake them over medium heat until they start to get soft for about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Mussels prepare: Rinse the mussels thoroughly under cold water and remove any broken specimens or mussels that do not close after a tap. Add the mussels to the pan with vegetables together with the cherry tomatoes.

Finish with liquid: pour the chosen liquid (white wine, here bass or pastis) over the mussels and vegetables. Turn the heat high and let everything boil for about 3 minutes with a lid on the pan, until the mussels are open.

Serve: Remove the pan from the heat as soon as all mussels are open. Serve immediately with hot sandwiches to dip the tasteful broth.
