What do you need?

Quantity: 6 waffles

Waffles:
6 thick cuts firm white bread
6 large free -range eggs
80 ml room
80 ml of milk
40 g raw cane sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 pinch of cinnamon (or vanilla extract if you like that, like me)
1 lump of butter to grease the iron

TOPPINGS:
butter and sprinkles
maple syrup
yogurt
sour cream
fresh fruit
paum
Kinnekessduiker (light brown caster sugar)
butter

Preparation method

How do you make this?

In the ideal world you cut your slices of bread the day before and place them on a grid so that they can dry out. In the morning the bread is better to absorb the egg mixture.

Beat the eggs firmly with all the ingredi. Or go on with a hand blender.

Place the slices of bread next to each other on an oven plate and pour the mixture over it.

Leave 5. Rest for 10 minutes and turn them around. Warm up your waffle iron, grease it slightly every time, place the slices between your iron and bake for 5 minutes to waffles. Serve immediately with all toppings on the table.
