1 sandwich of your choice
4 slices of provolone picante or mozzarella
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
1 tomato
(Optional) 2-3 anchovy fillets
Handful of cressonette (watercress)
3 slices of San Daniele ham
1 tbsp fresh mayonnaise or mustard

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Preparation
Cut the avocado and tomato into thin slices.
Cut the watercress and set aside.
Beat the eggs with salt and pepper.

Baking omelet with cheese
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Place the slices of cheese next to each other in the pan, so that the bottom is completely covered. Let it melt.
Pour the beaten eggs over the cheese and bake until the egg is cooked and the cheese is golden brown.

Toast a sandwich
Cut the bun open and place both halves with the insides down in the pan. Let it bake briefly until it is slightly crispy.

Topping a sandwich
Remove the sandwich from the pan and top with layers of avocado, tomato, San Daniele ham, anchovies and watercress if desired.

Serve
Serve immediately while the bun is still warm.
