What do you need?

1 pack of dry yeast (11 g)
140 ml of milk (lukewarm)
1 egg
185 g steamed soft pumpkin
10 ml of sunflower seed oil
410 g spelled flower + extra to pollinate
45 g coconut blossom sugar
pinch
1 TL speculaas spices
1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Put the milk, yeast, egg, pumpkin and oil in a high measuring cup and mix until smooth.

Do you have pieces? Then pour the mixture into a sieve.

Mix the flour, coconut blossom sugar, salt and herbs in a large mixing bowl or food processor with knead hook.

Add the milk and pumpkin mix and mix with a spoon or machine for 5 minutes until you get elastic dough. The dough should no longer break off if you squeeze a piece of it.

Place a towel over the whole and let it rest for an hour.

Warm the fries boiler in front.

Sprinkle the worktop with flour and pour the dough over it.

Sprinkle the dough with flour and push the dough as smoothly as possible to about 1.5 centimeters thick. Note: the dough may no longer stick at the bottom.

Push a circle shape into flour and stick out as many circles as possible of about 8 centimeters diameter.

Then put new circles of about 3 centimeters diameter from the circles.

Remove the basket from the fries kettle, put some flour on your hands and place the rings of dough in the fries boiler.

Bake each side for 1 to 2 minutes in vegetable oil at 165 ° C. Work with a pinch.

Place the fried rings on kitchen paper and let cool.

Mix the cream with powdered sugar and put the cream in a piping bag if necessary.
