1 clove garlic, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
Pinch of white pepper

1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
0.5 tbsp sriracha (or more to taste)
1 tsp honey or agave syrup
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Juice of ½ lime + zest

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Step 1: Pre-cook edamame (large basket – steam function)

  1. Place the frozen edamame in the basket of the large basket (steam function).
  2. Set to 100°C for 5 minutes to steam them gently.
  3. Take them out and let them drain for a while.
  4. Mix the edamame with soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, honey, lime juice and zest (and sesame seeds if desired).
  5. Pour the mixture into the small baskets and roast for 10 minutes at 175°C.

Step 2: Prepare Dim Sum

  1. Chop the shrimp together with the spring onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper in a food processor until coarsely mixed.
  2. Scoop a teaspoon of the mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges slightly with some water and fold closed into a pouch or half moon.
  4. Line the basket of the large basket with lettuce leaves and place the dim sum in it, leaving enough space between them.
  5. Set the steam function to 100°C for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Sync and steam/bake

  1. Turn on the sync button.
  2. Start both baskets at the same time.
  3. Serve everything warm – enjoy!
