Quantity: 4 pots

375 ml whole milk
375 ml heavy cream
125 g sugar
8 egg yolks
2 tbsp brown sugar and 2 tbsp fine white sugar
1 vanilla pod

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Put the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl, along with the vanilla seeds. Mix well together. Add the cold cream and milk and mix again. Place pots on a baking sheet and divide into 4 low pots.

Bake for at least one hour in a preheated oven at 90 degrees. The crème brûlées are done when the mixture no longer moves. Let cool. Cover with cling film and let set in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.

Mix brown and white sugar and sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar over each crème brûlée. Torch the crème brûlées with a blowtorch and serve immediately.
