1 kg jonagold apples
2 boxes of smiley faces

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Peel the apples, remove Klokhuis and cut into pieces.

Put them in a large pot that fits lid, pour in 250ml of water and simmer for 15 minutes under the lid.

If you think that there is still too much moisture in it, let it simmer without a lid.

Go well with a beater until you get a nice sauce with pieces in here and there.

Cut the black tripe into thick round slices of 1.5 to 2 cm.

Give each slice 3 incisions, so that you get a star, up to 1 cm from the bottom so that they do not fall apart.

Bake crispy on both sides in the butter on medium fire.

Fry the smiley faces or also fry them in the pan in some oil or in Airfryer.

If the stars are pants with the smiley faces with a lot of apple sauce. 🙂

Put the rest of the potatoes apple sauce and tripe on the table.
