Preparation method

How do you make this?

Peel apples: Peel the apples and make with the peeled pieces of apple sauce.

Filling the pot: Fill the glass jar to almost on the edge with the apple peels.

Add water: Pour in water until the apple peels are well covered.

Add honey: Add the honey and stir with a clean spoon.

Place weight: Place a kind of weight on the peels so that the peels stay nicely underneath, for example a bag filled with water.

Cover: cover the pot with an etamine cloth and secure it with an elastic.

Fermenting: Store the pot at room temperature. Stir the apple cider vinegar 1-2 times a day. The apples will ferment within a few days. Keep stirring daily. After 4 weeks all sugar is fermented and your vinegar has left.

Sieve the vinegar: Sieve the vinegar through a fine sieve and pour it into a clean bottle.
