50 ml of cognac
20 ml of fresh lemon juice
30 ml cointreau
10 ml of sugar syrup (see instructions below)
Ice cubes
Lemon zest, for garnish

50 g sugar
50 ml of water

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Sugar syrup: Mix equal parts of sugar and water in a small bowl. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. This is possible with a hand mixer.

Add the cognac to a cocktail shaker.

Then add the cointreau, lemon juice and sugar syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.

Sieve the content of the shaker in a cooled coupette glass.

Garnish with a piece of lemon zest by squeezing it above the cocktail and placing it in the glass.
