What do you need?

Quantity: 20 pieces

750 g self -rating flower
170 ml of milk at room temperature
100 ml of spray water
70 g fresh yeast
3 eggs and 2 yolks
1 tsp of salt
1 vanilla sock
400 g soft butter
500 g pearl sugar

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Mix yeast, milk and salt among each other.

Then do this with all other ingredients, except the pearl sugar, in a bowl.

Mix with the hook and let it knead 5 ’well until the dough comes from the sides, possibly dust with some extra flour, let it rest and rise for 1 hour.

Add the pearl sugar and mix again.

Heat your waffle iron and spread it with some oil, place heaps of dough on top and fry the waffles for 2 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the caramelized sugar between the ports, otherwise it will burn after a while.

Depending on your waffle iron, you decide for yourself how big you want them.
