Preparation method

How do you make this?

Place all ingredients in a high measuring cup and mix for 3-4 minutes until you have a smooth and homogeneous dough.

Place the slices of bacon on a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat. Mix the honey with the smoked paprika powder and divide a teaspoon of honey over each slice of bacon. Spread it evenly with a brush.

Bake the bacon for 10-12 minutes at 180 ° C, until it is nicely caramelized. Keep it warm.

Heat your waffle iron in front of position 4 and grease it lightly as soon as it is warm.

Pour the dough into the waffle iron and bake for about 4 minutes, until the waffles are golden brown. Place them on a cooling rack.

Repeat this process with the remaining dough, grease the waffle iron again and again before you pour the dough in it.

Place 2 slices of bacon and drizzle some extra smoked honey on each waffle.

Serve immediately.
