Quantity: 1.5l

1 L Water
2 biological lemons
400 g raw cane sugar
25 elderflower screens
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup of 1.5 l
Cheese towel cloth or very fine sieve

Preparation method

How do you make this?

Check each flower for dirt and critters, plug them into a preserving jar or jar, cut the lemons into slices, add them, fill with water until everything is covered.

Leave on at least 24 hours and a maximum of 3 days on your counter.

Put a pot on the fire with a sieve and a rinsed wrung nettle cloth on it.

Sift everything through, add sugar and lemon juice.

Bring to the boil and stir occasionally, let it boil for 2 minutes and turn off fire.

Pour in a lockable bottle, keep in a fridge for 1 month.

Serve 2 parts syrup on 8 parts of water with some ice blocks, one slice of lemon and possibly an elderflower flower.
